To get the most out of the foretrack system it’s important to have a clear understanding of the different features available. Vehicle tracking benefits many different companies in a variety of ways, please contact us to find out how we can make fore track work for you. Covert and Low Powered
foretrack is the smallest and lowest powered device on the market, about the size of a matchbox! The low power consumption of the unit means that vehicle batteries will not be drained and assets such as trailers can be tracked using an independent power resource.
Geofences
A geofence is effectively an area set within the website that can be alarmed for entrance and exit. The geofence can be set wherever you want and the number of geofences is unlimited.
• The system is able to send a text message or an e-mail to a pre-defined alarm recipient when the geofence is entered or exited.
• A geofence can be time banded e.g. it may only apply for out of work hours.
• A location where vehicles are stored overnight can be fenced with an alarm recipient set to receive a text message or email if any of the vehicles move outside of the geofence.
• A company is able to prove that it’s vehicles entered a site on a particular date and time, a security company would be able to automatically generate e-mails to be sent to its customers proving a time they had visited their site overnight.
Alarms
Alarms can be set on almost any parameter you can think of!
• Like a geofence, an alarm can inform alarm recipients when activated by text message and e-mail as well as the on-screen alert.
• A vehicle maximum speed alarm can be set that is activated when a vehicle exceeds a set speed limit.
• Total mileage could be alarmed that sends an e-mail to the operations manager informing them that the vehicle is now due a service. Idling
foretrack can identify the amount time spent idling, that is running an engine without moving, and report back. This has huge potential for reducing fuel bills.
Driver Behaviour
Monitor driver behaviour in terms of excessive acceleration and harsh braking, ensure your vehicles are being used as they should be.
A Live System
Unlike many other systems which claim to be live, foretrack actually is, without the need to manually poll any vehicles!
• The system updates every 1 km travelled or turn greater than 45 degrees. This enables you to see exactly where a vehicle is at any point in time (see BELOW) and produce accurate journey snail tails.

Journey Snail Trail
Due to the high number of updates included it is easy to produce a journey snail trail showing the exact route taken of a vehicle.
• Are drivers going places they shouldn’t?
• Are they going the most effective route?
• Could journeys be planned more efficiently?
Historical Data
foretrack stores up to 3 months worth of data and through the comprehensive selection of reports available allows a user to pull out any information they may require.
• Reports are produced in Excel or PDF format, enabling data manipulation and custom reporting.
• Report schedules can be set up so that you receive a set report, on a set day at a set time.
• All vehicle data is stored, total miles, average speeds, top speeds, number of journeys, time started, journey duration and more!
Street Level Mapping
All the maps within foretrack will zoom in to street level, ensuring a user can see exactly where a vehicle is located. The mapping is also Europe wide, although data will be subject to roaming tariffs.
Web Based
The web based nature of the system makes it incredibly simple to use and also means that vehicle information can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. A user could log on from home or even from a PDA device.
